About
My name is Dan. I am a photographer based in Newcastle Upon Tyne in the North East of England.
I started exploring my creative side following a diagnosis for dyslexia at the age of 30. I had primarily worked analytical roles, so this came as a shock to me. Embracing my creative side through my camera helped me cope and adapt to the diagnosis, allowing me to come to terms with my superpower.
I love to create dark and moody images in a tenebrism style, especially for portraits. I am happy to work on location and also to do environmental portraiture.
I do also like a landscape image (especially of an old farm building) and weekend adventures of hikes and landscapes can be found in my blog.
