    Travel

This section contains a selection of travel images including trips from Europe, as well as further afield.

Hopefully the below link will scratch an itch for wanderlust.

    Portraits

Check the link below to view a selection of my work in the portrait genre.

I am always happy to shoot portraits, and open to portrait collaborations, especially if it is support of small businesses.

    Blog

Updated roughly weekly, the blog section chronicles weekend photography adventures that I take with my family.

This includes hikes around North East England, lot of rural scenes including farm buildings, and maybe the occasional glamping pod with hot tub…

Hello. My name is Dan. I am a freelance photographer based in Newcastle Upon Tyne in North East England.

I have worked with clients within the beauty and clothing industries, often with small local businesses, to produce images for their websites and social media channels. This has included both portrait and product photography. You can see examples of work in these areas by selecting the portrait or product sections above.

I like to shoot on location, many of my beauty images were taken in salons, whilst a lot of my fashion photography has taken place in urban/street settings.

In my spare time I also enjoy landscape photography, and some of my personal projects in this genre has led to collaborations with the National Parks to document some of their conservation work in Northumberland, as well as collaborations with a local castle for social media images during their summer events. Although I don’t have landscape photos represented within my portfolio, they are present in the blog section of the site. This will be updated on regular basis, normally weekly, with family adventures such as hiking or nights way to glamping pods.
